First off, let me apologize for being so neglegent in the blog department! Testing has taken over our life in kindergarten, so the blogs have been delayed. Please keep coming back as I hope to get blogging again soon!!! On another note, the 2014 Kindergarten Celebration will be held June 12th in the West Central Gym. Please feel free to invite AS MANY GUESTS AS YOU LIKE, but please let Miss Hodgins know how many people will be attending ass soon as possible. As promised in the note, here are some links to songs we will be performing during the celebration. More will be coming as I post them. First we went to the gym and played games with the big kids. We played parachute. We played cats and mouse. We counted the Lucky Charms and then we ate them, but not the marshmallows cause we weren't done with the marshmallows yet. The special letter was F. There was a frog and flowers and a banana--fruit--a fan, a flag, family, food, flowers, flowers, furry bunny, fairy book about fairies, fawn. I was going to climb on the climber upside down on my knees. It was so crazy! I couldn't even see! I love Cameron. We went on the swing again and then we went on the see-saws and then we went on the climbers. We picked out books and writed it down on a list. Goodbye! ~Kadi We ate hot lunch and it was p'sgetti. We put out centres today. We learned about F today. I was chickened out from the marry to Denaya. She was in her dress already. She's not really happy with me. We did homework at school. My care partner was Keaton. We played Corbin's games outside. We had ice cream for dessert. Goodbye! On Wednesday, March 12th, the students celebrated Aski's birthday. We had a FABULOUS and EXCITING day (with very hyper children). We were so excited to have soooo many caregivers come out and celebrate with us!!! For more information about Aski and the Help Me Tell My Story assessment, please visit this link. At parent/teacher interviews, all parents will receive information to help them access their caregiver portal to see all information about their child's responses. We singed and read in the grade 2's and 1's class. Mr. Golden Sun was my favourite song. I drinked juice for snack. The letter of the day was C. For show and tell there was a car, my brother, caterpillar, cat, cheetohs and the care bears. We eated them while we were watching what letter is on the street (Sesame Street Podcast). We eated, go to the library, played. Bye! ~Denaya I was playing Lego with Jackson and Keenan and Cole. Grandma Moses was here this morning. She played in the gym with us. We played on the iPod with Miss Hodgins and Aski. I had my sandwich and my yogurt and my chocolate pudding. Goodbye! ~Noah Denaya's tooth fell out! There was of blood! She was a lot of excited! Sarah was sick. We miss you, Sarah! We'll send this to Sarah and then Sarah will know that Denaya's tooth fell out! A girl can't hear very well that's coming next year. We learned to go to the bathroom (how to say "toilet" in sign language). I'm playing doctor. Do you want to come and play, Sarah? Kadi made a necklace for Amaya and it's all orange. I like it! I miss Sarah. Goodbye, dear Sarah. ~Amaya We went to the assembly. We had to sing O Canada. I'm not really good at it because I'm sick and I have a really dry throat. We seen who's the winner of the broom. We went next door to the grade 3's and grade 2's (grade 1/2 room) and we sing songs. We made a raccoon...a rainbow craft. She (Miss Hodgins) has them (robot earrings) and they're silver. And a pink heart and they're on her ear and she has good glasses. ~Kadi We played Lego. Noah and River gived candy for Valentine's Day. Sarah gived jello and cookies. We made puppet theatre boxes for our valentines. I brought sticker valentines with skeleton and I forget the monster one, what it's called. I coloured on my nose. Miss Hodgins was not happy. I don't know if my mom will be happy. Happy Valentine's Day! ~Cole |
